Yamaha VX-1
I hate the word rare, but I think it's warranted in this instance. The Yamaha VX-1 is a rare guitar, they were made in Japan in 1985 and were never sold outside of Japan (I've barely come across many in Japan either). Released alongside the EX (explorer) and EBX (explorer bass) these pointy Yamaha's didn't stick around for too long, from my research I believe these only lasted a year in production.
A modern take on a V, the body on the VX-1 is almost a small V within a large V, and gives us huge space age vibes. The headstock design is a big point like you would find on a rocket. We love how the designers really leant into the space age design.

Our old Yamaha is in very good condition for a guitar of this vintage. There's a couple of marks here and there (pictured) but it's the cleanest VX-1 I've seen! Freshly set up with Daddario 10's and ready to go!
