Guitarzilla

With over a decade of experience in used and vintage instrument retail, and as players ourselves, we know what guitar players want.

We set up Guitarzilla in 2018 to to get our hands on the kinds of guitars that we are crazy about.

We hunt down top-quality used and vintage instruments from around the world and bring them home to our Leeds workshop, where each one is carefully taken to pieces, but back together and set up ready for listing on our website. Rest assured that every guitar that passes through our hands is awarded the same amount of love and attention.

We spend time getting to know each guitar before we offer it for sale. Each one is given a detailed appraisal on the work bench and then undergoes a thorough in-house service and some playing time before it is made available to purchase. Sometimes we get so attached to them we don’t want to let them go! Sometimes we don’t!

We take great pride in the fact our guitars are ready to play straight out of the box . We will even prepare a guitar in line with your personal requirements. Just let us know what you would like and we will happily accommodate you!

We’re known for leaning toward the strange side of the guitar world, and we fully embrace it. The classics are cool, we love a good Strat or Tele - but we get really excited about the unexpected. Think guitars shaped like Assault Rifles or miniature Jazzmasters with built-in speakers and fuzz circuits. The weirder, the better.

Our personal experience has told us that buying guitars off the internet can be fraught with problems. We aim to minimise that risk to you. Since we began, we have sold and shipped over a thousand guitars online, often abroad, and often to repeat customers.
