Yamaha SB-1C
The legendary flying Banana! The SB-1C is a legendary and elusive bass guitar offered for sale by Yamaha in the late 60's alongside the SB-2, 5 and 7. But this is by far the wildest and coolest. Sporting a body shape that resembles a banana and a headstock that resembles a Samurai sword, what more can i possibly say about the aesthetics of this bass?
It's a player too, it's unusual 31.5" scale length makes even the smallest of hands feel at home on the lovely Maple neck. The single pickup delivers a lovely thump and the adjustable foam mute that sits on top of the bridge (still intact) offers a bunch of adjustability.

Our old Yam is in great shape for a guitar of this vintage. It's got some age related marks present but nothing major considering the age. Freshly set up with Daddario 45's and ready to go!
