A truly special guitar. Orville by Gibson guitars were produced under the watchful eye of Gibson in Japan in the 80's and 90's. These guitars were sold for the domestic Japanese market, as an attempt to try and combat the highly popular and successful copy market. They were never exported out of Japan and have gained a cult following; with good reason too as they are incredible instruments that could rival any American built Gibson.
This is the earliest ObG we've ever laid our hands on. A first year of production ES-335 in a stunning Cherry Red finish with dot inlays! Collectors grade condition, complete with original hard case and factory tags.
