Ibanez ID80
Now here's something you don't see every day! The Dyuke from Ibanez was only available for the Japanese Domestic Market in 1989. So it's not exactly a common sight on this side of the world! A very cool original double cut design that does the Strat meets Les Paul thing and adds a little bit of spice in the form on Mini Humbuckers and 24 frets.
Why they only built these for 1 year is beyond us; this is a killer guitar that was probably a little bit ahead of its time in the late eighties. A great piece of Japanese guitar history.
Spec:
- Bound Ash body
- 1-piece Maple neck
- Ebony fingerboard
- 24 frets
- 2x Ibanez Little Humbuckers
- 2x Volume Control
- 2x Tone Control
- 3-way selector
- Gotoh machineheads
As you can see our old Dyuke has been loved and has some battle scars to prove it (pictured) no nasty chunks are huge scratches just signs of years of use. It wears them all very well! We have re-fretted the guitar using Jescar medium fretwire and it's ready for another 35 years of loyal service! Freshly set up with Daddario 10's and ready to go!
