Fender Jazz Bass JB62
A proper rarity! The JV (or Japanese Vintage or Joint Venture depending who you ask..) were the first Fender/Squier guitars built in Japan in the FujiGen factory. The Squier branded guitars were sold domestically and exported and the Fender branded models were only sold domestically in Japan.
Typically JV's were built between 1982-1984 but this has a very high serial (JV91136) and a pencil date of 1-26 85 which would date the bass to the 1st of January 1985.
