Edwards Ken Yokoyama
A signature LP for punk Japanese guitar legend Ken Yokoyama; this LPC is a killer take on the classic Black Beauty format, beautifully put together at the ESP factory in Japan. An early 'produced by Navigator' Edwards guitar.
Deciding that a 3-way switch was in his way, Yokoyama opted to go without one for his signature model, opting for a push/pull pot on a tone control instead. Of course this means that you can only have 1 pickup at a time but that's what he wanted so that's what they did!
The neck is a classic 60's C LP neck profile, comfortable and very playable all the way down the neck. Long tenon construction. The bridge pickup is original and the neck pickup has been replaced with a Seymour Duncan '59 at some point in its life.

Our old Edwards has had a life, there's a few dings and scratches here and there (pictured) but nothing unsightly! There's some light cloudiness to the diamond inlay on the headstock (common, due to how they apply the veneer). We've replaced 3 out of 4 pots, both pickup rings and the bridge. We've also levelled and crowned the frets ready for it's new owner!
