Fender TL52
Leo Fender really did get it right the first time. The humble Telecaster was the first mass produced solid body electric guitar, introduced in 1950 (under the Broadcaster moniker) and has been in production ever since. The first guitars to feature the 'Telecaster' headstock decal where made in 1952, these all sported a Blonde finish, single ply black pickguard and 2 single-coil pickups that would revolutionise the musical landscape.
Our TL52 from Fender Japan is a gorgeous example; aesthetically the vintage natural finish with the single ply black scratchplate is very 50's indeed! And the pair of USA single coils kick out a lovely Tele twang!
