Fender Jag-Stang
A great piece of Fender history! The Jag-Stang from Fender was the brainchild of Kurt Cobain of Nirvana fame, who famously chopped up a photograph of a Fender Jaguar and Mustang (his 2 favourite Fender guitars), glued them together and sent it across to Fender to see if they could make a prototype. After some back and forth the Jag-Stang was fully realised and it went into production in 1996 at the height of Nirvanas power!
Seen as the ugliest guitar Fender ever made by some but adored by others, the Jag-Stang is the classic example of a Marmite guitar!

Our old Jag-Stang is in good condition, the Sonic Blue finish has faded to more of a dirty Surf Green colour with some Blue still coming trough in certain places, it's an extremely unique patina which looks amazing in our opinion. There's one noticeable chip that's been patched up (pictured) with a Sonic Blue colour that probably matched perfectly when it was first done! Freshly set up with a set of D'Addario 11-49's and ready to go!
