A seriously cool vintage thumper from Epiphone. This Matsumoku built bass is an excellent example or the craftsmanship of the Japanese luthiers of Matsumoku in the 70's. Sporting a string through body construction, 32" scale length and mean set of pickups! There's nothing that this old Epiphone can't do tonally, and there's something about a brown guitar that just hits the spot, especially form the 70's!

Our old Newport is in great shape for a guitar of this vintage. Couple of minor marks here and there and some buckle rash (pictured) but nothing unsightly. Freshly set up with Daddario 45's and ready to go!
